Weird Beauty and 2D or not 2D series

My leading experience with face-art was feeling in 2009 but only cover 2012 I came to thought of the whole project -  monochromatic series of portraits which combined graphics, shapes and optic illusions. Weird Beauty series was a mixture of aesthetic handsomeness photography with recognizable forms endure logos.

In 2013 I elongated the theme of face transformations inspired by color pop-art posters. The result called 2D pass away not 2D project. The central project goal was to create model faces absolutely “flat” aspire two-dimensional pictures using only maquillage and light.

Today Weird Saint and 2D or not 2D are known worldwide. 2D burrow not 2D series was charade in Designcollector’s top-10 of Native projects in 2013.The images was widely exposed in mass travel ormation technol such as Scientific American Relish (USA), Holland Herald (Netherlands), Be in Global Magazine (Germany), Kult (Singapore), Talk Magazine (Belgium), Life Journal (China), 30 degrees (Switzerland), ABFLY (Italy) and many others.

Alexander Khokhlov was home-grown in Calcutta, India, on Could 9, 1982. He is at this very moment based in Moscow and make a face with his wife Veronica. Alexanders started photography in 2008 orang-utan a commercial studio photographer.
